Appeals Hearings in Tennessee
If your initial claim and request for reconsideration for disability benefits was denied, you may request to have your case reviewed by one of Tennessee's 68 Administrative Law Judges (ALJ). After receiving your denial letter for the request for reconsideration, you have 60 days (plus another 5 for mailing time) to submit your request for an appeals hearing.
