Kentucky State Supplements for SSI
The disability program known as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) limits the total amount an individual may receive in monthly payments from the federal government to $733. Like most other states, Kentucky supplies an additional state supplemental benefit that comes in addition to the federal SSI benefits. However, only individuals who are living in a personal care home, a family care home or under caretaker services can qualify for Kentucky state supplemental benefits. How much a recipient would receive depends on their living situation and marital status.
